BROCK'S BIRTHDAY (November 28)

On Brock's actual Birthday, we took him to Cuzzin's Frozen Yogurt. He looked like he was eating a lemon each bite he took! I think it was due to the coldness.

My Journal Entry on 11-27-1011 (night before his b-day). (Verbatum so be patient... he's a few months older now, but this is Brock at 1)

My baby is turning 1 tomorrow. He's so big! I can't believe we've had a whole year with him. We are so blessed! We got to be a part of his life. He has had many tough times. And he has had many smiles and possibly more giggles.

I just can't believe how lucky we've been to have him, to love him and hold + cuddle him, to watch him learn! He's our little Brock. We love him--more than life.
Bright - He seems to always be ahead of his age or right on target.
Rambunctious- He just has the wiggles always.
Outgoing - He loves to flirt w/ those behind us in church.
Cuddly - He loves to give loves!
Kind - He loves to hand us things - over and over again.

He can take 3 steps on his own. Fast crawler. Walks along anything (wall). 4 words: up, hi, dada, more (mumum). Bounces his index finger together for 3 little monkeys (+ sign for more). Waves his arms up + down when excited, sad, mad, hungry, + done. Gives loves by snuggling his head down into you + tucking his arms in. Loves swings. Giggles so easily (from weird noises, or swinging - anything). Loves music. Loves to dance/ will break out randomly by swaying his head back and forth. Loves to empty + refill things. Loves yogurt + cheese. His sippy cup is a comfort when sad. He must grab his blanket with him when we take him out of the crib. Currently going through separation anxiety with mom. Loves to crawl w/ something in his mouth while scooting a toy in 1 hand. He loves loves loves praise. Wont let us talk on the phone w/out getting jealous. Loves being outside. Is great in his stroller. Loves his stories/being read to. Loves when we sing to him/do nursery rhymes. Tries to get dad's glasses. Loves climbing stairs/hanging out + playing in kitchen when he gets through the gate. Has the cutest teeth + smile. Is a flirt. Points at so much. Blows on dandelions. Loves animals. Loves his home. Loves Beckham + Samantha. Loves to throw his food, even when not done. Loves grapes (all fruit). Loves 2 pull socks off in car.

~Party Time~

In light of our recent trip to Disneyland, we themed the party after Mickey Mouse and Friends with mickey rice crispy treats and chicken nuggets, mozzarella sticks, grapes, homemade suckers, and strawberry vanilla-pudding cake!



Brock did NOT like the cake... hmmm. He finally ate some strawberries after balling his eyes out saying, "Up. Up. Up!"

His friends cheered him up!
Jessica was a great chair!
He was spoiled with love an unexpected gifts!!! He was SOOOO happy about the sweet gifts. Thank you so much, everybody! They continue to entertain this wild boy!
