Sectional
Our couch now
A possibility
Jacob and I have a Faux Leather Sofa from Big Lots (pic #1) we have just loved for the 2+ years we've had it. It is SO easy to clean, doesn't scratch (one of the benefits of having the fake leather, seriously way better) and is in pretty much the same shape we bought it in.(thank you Jacob's parents! -this was their wedding present to us, I know we are spoiled). When we have people over, however, 3 seats just doesn't quite cut it. This is why our camping chair has become our official armchair in the room, and we usually need to take a chair or two from the kitchen so people aren't sitting on the floor. So, we headed over to Value City Furniture to see if they had great deals on love seats. They had 1 we liked. It would totally match our couch (and I can turn the print backwards so it is just the plain tan showing, I know it's cute, but I just like plain).... but.... If I'm spending more than 100 bucks on ANYTHING, the picky monster in me comes out. It's 290.... so I am 3 times picky. This is why we only liked 1 loveseat, the rest were WAY too expensive. It has fabric (not micro-fiber), and the pillows are not machine washable where you can take off the cover. I'm sorry, but that is gross! Seriously, couches get dirty with all sorts of people who've been all sorts of places sitting all up in them. Yuck, right? And even the fabric on the cushions can't wash, ewe!.... (it costs an additional 100 to do the whole fabric protector thing, cheaper to do scotch guard which is just a coat). We have just been too spoiled with our couch we can sanitize and completely clean without doing an oz of damage.
And then... then we saw this sectional. True, it is 3x as much as the love seat we were looking at, but even with being 9x picky, I love love this couch. It is bigger than the picture makes it out to be, it is so so comfy, it provides that extra seating, it is also the faux easy to clean leather. Plus, these pillows can be taken off (our current couch's are attached) so Jacob and I can actually make room to spoon! What, married people still spoon. But it is 3x as much! Why do I have to have expensive taste??? And Jacob loves it too, which does NOT make things easy.
Anyway, we are still tempted. We would have to part with our beloved sofa, but that just means the money we sell that for can go towards the sectional.... see? Never ever go shopping for furniture. It's just too easy. Craigslist is enough of a hassle where we use our brains a little more un-rashly.
But what do you think? Are we so stupid for even considering this? And most importantly, is this even a good price? (900 if u didn't catch on) Oh, and ignore the zebra print pillows, haha. I just love it!
Option A. Keep looking for a Loveseat.
Option B. Get the one we found and like for 290, and scotch guard it.
Option C. Save our pennies/Christmas money/Aflac money (long story, but supplemental insurance we will collect from once baby comes) for the sectional we love.
Option D. .... I don't know... OTHER
What do you think? I need some input from people who know us!

Praise me:)
If you have ever made anything from this book, you will know that rather than getting a simple recipe and making what you want, it's like being in a cooking class. I seriously feel like I'm studying when I use this book. But it's good! Plus you just feel pro. Confession: I've only actually made omelettes and quiche... but I've read a bunch of other stuff, so that counts, right? Anyway, I had the camera out so took a pic. Might as well post it because I feel like that's what bloggers do, right? They make dinner and then post about it? I'm not sure why... maybe we women just need praise, haha.
OH, and here's a crepe cake (not from this cbook, from some Cordon Bleu one). Cool right? This one is an orange cream crepe cake... yeah not even good! It was seriously gross (too fancy). But little Jacob and Isaac, kept asking for more and more servings of it and couldn't get enough! We were just laughing at them because we could not understand. I love Isaac and his overenthusiastic raspy voice as he complements, "Mmmmmme, this crepe cake is goooood, Becca!" They probably ate 1/2 of it because the rest of us were more reluctant. But it looks cool, right? Next time: Nutella and bananas, done! That will be good.
